To rozhodli ti nahoře. Kolektivizace z pohledu předsedy JZD ve Zvěstově
Josef Macek stál u vzniku Jednotného zemědělského družstva ve Zvěstově pod bájnou horou Blaník. V kronice JZD popsal odpor místních sedláků, u kterých nebyl kvůli kolektivizaci v oblibě, a aroganci nadřízených, kvůli níž si připadal bezmocný.

Jan Sedláček nechtěl do JZD. Policie u něj našla ilegální literaturu a Chartu 77. Zavřeli ho za rozkrádání socialistického majetku.
Začala násilná kolektivizace
Dne 23. února 1949 schválili komunističtí poslanci zákon o Jednotných zemědělských družstvech, který legalizoval násilné odebírání pozemků a majetku soukromým zemědělcům po vzoru Sovětského svazu.

Prosperující statek mu vyrabovali sovětští i rumunští vojáci. Po válce jej postavil znovu na nohy, přihlášku do JZD podepsat nechtěl. Ve vězení strávil šest let. O zmařeném osudu Františka Cechy vyprávěla jeho dcera Ludmila Ševčíková.
