Monument of the German poet Theodor Körner at Smrk on a historical postcard. The monument was destroyed on October 1, 1938 by members of the State Defense Guard while clearing positions from the borderlands after the Munich Agreement was signed.

The lookout tower on the Smrk mountain (Tafelfichte) from 1892 on a historical postcard. The borders of Bohemia, Lusatia and Silesia used to meet at Smrk. Since June 1938, the border was guarded by a State Defense Guard unit, which left the hut near the lookout tower on the night of October 1, 1938 without paying (the hut, which was run by a German administrator before the war, burned down in 1946, the unmaintained wooden tower collapsed in the 1960s).
