  • A large photograph on the fence of the garden of the Konspira restaurant in Wrocław commemorates Karel Kryl playing in an ordinary Wrocław pub in November 1989. A chance witness to this unplanned performance of Karel Kryl was Stanislav Ninth, who had been hiding in Wroclaw since September 1989 from imprisonment. He listened to Karel Kryl over a beer in the corner of the pub, but because of his secrecy he was not allowed to show that he knew him.
