There were over a thousand inhabitants and it was a larger district town."

Marie Hrdinová was born on December 10, 1950. She spent her childhood and youth in the village of Kralupy near Chomutov, which disappeared in 1976 due to coal mining. Marie moved out of the village before her demise, yet it is still difficult for her that she cannot return to her native village.
