The following text is not a historical study. It is a retelling of the witness’s life story based on the memories recorded in the interview. The story was processed by external collaborators of the Memory of Nations. In some cases, the short biography draws on documents made available by the Security Forces Archives, State District Archives, National Archives, or other institutions. These are used merely to complement the witness’s testimony. The referenced pages of such files are saved in the Documents section.

Miroslav Fleischman (* 1969)

• narozen 12. května 1969 v Českém Krumlově

• absolvoval gymnázium v Jírovcově ulici

• od roku 1987 obsluhoval čerpací stanice státního podniku Benzina

• od osmnácti let chodil na protirežimní demonstrace, sledován StB

• v roce 1989 stál u zrodu Demokratické iniciativy

• během sametové revoluce se angažoval v českobudějovickém Občanském fóru

• působil v občanské komisi při jihočeském krajském ředitelství policie

• předsedal jihočeskému oblastnímu výboru Liberálně demokratické strany

• roku 2013 se stal členem výboru Klubu na obranu demokracie
