The following text is not a historical study. It is a retelling of the witness’s life story based on the memories recorded in the interview. The story was processed by external collaborators of the Memory of Nations. In some cases, the short biography draws on documents made available by the Security Forces Archives, State District Archives, National Archives, or other institutions. These are used merely to complement the witness’s testimony. The referenced pages of such files are saved in the Documents section.

• konec dubna 1950 - likvidace semináře i duchovní správy – akce P

• 1950–1953 - vojenská služba u PTP

• 1. 1. 1951 - vysvěcen tajně na kněze

• 1953-1955 - různá povolání, vedle toho působí jako tajný kněz

• 27. 7. 1955–7. 2. 1958 - útěk a skrývání

• 7. 2. 1958 - zatčení

• 1958–1960 - vězněn v lágru Tmavý důl ve Rtyni v Podkrkonoší (těžba uhlí)

• 1960–1968 - plynárenský zaměstnanec

• 1968 - obnovena oficiální činnost řeckokatolické církve

• 1969–1991 - ceremoniář a aktuár na prešovském biskupství, činnost ve farnostech

• kancléřem Apoštolského exarchátu v Praze

• 2002 - jmenován papežským prelátem

• 2004 - jmenován titulárním biskupem abrittským

• zemřel 4. prosince 2019
