Samuel Vízner was born on 3 September 1941, in the village of Ľubietová. He was growing up during WW2. His parents were hiding a Jewish girl of Zigmund family at their home. Vízner family was helping this Jewish family, they were hiding them and taking care of their daughter called Mirka. After the War, Samuel Vízner attended mining industrial school in the town of Banská Štiavnica and from 1964 he worked in the cement factory in Banská Bystrica. From 1989 he worked in the defectoscopy center called Mostárne in the town of Brezno. In 1999 he found at home a forgotten letter from Zigmund family, dated in 1949, and at his instigation both families met again after a long 59 years.
