Libuše Trpišovská, née Kohoutová, was born on 19 January 1943 in a hospital in Kolín into a glassmaker’s family. At the age of three, her family moved from the nearby village of Bělá in the Vysočina region directly to the premises of the glassworks in Tasice to the historic Manor House. The witness lived here until 1974. Her entire professional life is connected with the Tasice glassworks. Already at the age of fifteen, she joined the grinding mill in 1958 and later took turns in the smelters at the kiln. The glassworks were then a part of the state enterprise Kavalier. She took part in the filming of the TV series Sons and Daughter of Jakub Sklář, which took place between 1984 and 1986. She retired in 2000 and still lived in Tasice at the time of filming (2019).
