  • On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia, the Frýdlant Scouts planted the "Linden of Freedom" in the town park on 28 October 1968, the witness is holding the Czechoslovak flag with his back (in the background there is still a monument to the fallen in World War I, mostly of German nationality, which was later moved to the cemetery)
