  • The family of Jan Kopeček the Elder, witness' father. Jan Kopeček the Elder is wearing the Czechoslovak army uniform, his brothers are standing next to him. His brother Josef (left) was a member of resistance group organised by the Church of the Moravian Brethren. He was first sentenced to death by the Nazis, later, the verdict was changed to 15 years of imprisonment as another resistance fighter confessed to a part of Josef's conviction and later, he was executed.
