The following text is not a historical study. It is a retelling of the witness’s life story based on the memories recorded in the interview. The story was processed by external collaborators of the Memory of Nations. In some cases, the short biography draws on documents made available by the Security Forces Archives, State District Archives, National Archives, or other institutions. These are used merely to complement the witness’s testimony. The referenced pages of such files are saved in the Documents section.

Josef Touš (* 1929  †︎ 2013)

• narozen 9. listopadu 1929, Pocinovice

• otec Václav Touš (1898–1986) po únoru 1948 převáděl uprchlíky přes hranice, byl zatčen a jako člen skupiny MUDr. Krbec a spol. odsouzen k 14 letům vězení, vězněn na Pankráci, v Kladně, na Borech, v Leopoldově; propuštěn na amnestii v roce 1960

• Josef Touš pomáhal otci s ukrýváním a převáděním uprchlíků, skupina kolem Aloise Suttyho

• zatčeni v dubnu 1950

• odsouzen jako člen skupiny MUDr. Krbec a spol. k 10 letům vězení

• v letech 1950–1955 vězněn na Pankráci a na Jáchymovsku

• po propuštění se vrátil do Pocinovic - práce ve strojní stanici, lesnictví, ve strojírnách v Kdyni
