The following text is not a historical study. It is a retelling of the witness’s life story based on the memories recorded in the interview. The story was processed by external collaborators of the Memory of Nations. In some cases, the short biography draws on documents made available by the Security Forces Archives, State District Archives, National Archives, or other institutions. These are used merely to complement the witness’s testimony. The referenced pages of such files are saved in the Documents section.

František Tesař (* 1932  †︎ 2012)

• politický vězeň

• narozený 25. srpna 1932 v Moravských Budějovicích

• jeho život ovlivňovala víra v Boha a po generace děděný vztah k půdě

• byl okrajově zapojen v tzv. akci Babice

• 27. června 1951 přešel s kamarádem ilegálně hranice do Rakouska, ale byl vyhoštěn zpět

• 28. srpna 1951 odsouzen na jeden rok

• trest si odpykával v Jihlavě, Zbýšově, Brně-Cejlu a na Jáchymovsku

• v roce 1953 na něho byla opět podána žaloba pro pobuřování, byl ale osvobozen

• 26 měsíců prožil u PTP

• jeho otec byl odsouzen jako tzv. kulak a utrpěl během věznění vážný úraz páteře

• aktivní v roce 1968 (K 231, ČSL)

• účast na protirežimních demonstracích na konci 80. let

• v roce 1992 začal opět soukromě hospodařit

• zemřel 4. ledna 2012
