The following text is not a historical study. It is a retelling of the witness’s life story based on the memories recorded in the interview. The story was processed by external collaborators of the Memory of Nations. In some cases, the short biography draws on documents made available by the Security Forces Archives, State District Archives, National Archives, or other institutions. These are used merely to complement the witness’s testimony. The referenced pages of such files are saved in the Documents section.

Bolestí sport vychovává člověka, aby byl cílevědomý a uznával soupeře

  • narozena 6. dubna 1931 v Praze

  • do roku 1945 chodila na Ruské gymnázium v Praze 4

  • známost s pozdějším politickým vězněm Pravdoslavem Valentou

  • v roce 1952 se seznámila s Otakarem Machem a téhož roku se vzali, narodil se jim syn Tomáš

  • v roce 1968 odjeli na dovolenou do Itálie, Jugoslávie, Rakouska a po srpnových událostech se již do Československa nevrátili

  • žili ve švýcarském městě Winterthur

  • do Prahy se s manželem vrátili koncem listopadu 2005

  • zemřela v lednu 2021
