The following text is not a historical study. It is a retelling of the witness’s life story based on the memories recorded in the interview. The story was processed by external collaborators of the Memory of Nations. In some cases, the short biography draws on documents made available by the Security Forces Archives, State District Archives, National Archives, or other institutions. These are used merely to complement the witness’s testimony. The referenced pages of such files are saved in the Documents section.

Ludmila Langrová (* 1923  †︎ 2015)

Šířka tak na roztažené paže, byla tam úplná tma

  • narodila se 5. června 1923 ve Žlebech

  • vystudovala obchodní školu v Praze

  • v srpnu 1945 se vdala za učitele Jaromila Langra

  • v roce 1947 se jim narodil syn Miloš

  • v roce 1950 byli oba manželé a otec Ludmily zatčeni při hromadném zatýkání ve Žlebech a obviněni z protistátních akcí ke čtyřem letům vězení

  • Ludmila byla vězněna v ženské věznici v Rakovníku, Jaromil na Jáchymovsku, otec paní Langrové na Pankráci

  • po smrti Gottwalda byli propuštěni

  • rehabilitace se dočkali až v 90. letech

  • Jaromil Langr zemřel v roce 2004

  • pamětnice zemřela 14. září 2015
