Romani Memory:Recollections of Roma from the Central Europeen Perspective

The aim of the project is to collect the testimonies of Roma „ social elite“- people who were active in the social and Civic life in V4 countries during the time of Communism. The testimonies would reflect the social situation of Roma people in each country and the social changes that has been done by the Roma „elite“ for the Roma minority. The testimonies were recorded by Krajské centrum pre rómské otázky in Slovakia, 1956-Intézet Alapítvány in Hungary, Fundacja na Rzecz Studiów Europejskich in Poland, and czech Post Bellum and Romea. The project was supported by International Visegrad Fund.
